Schools & Education

Stratford School
Stratford is home to an awarding-winning K-8 public school.  The Stratford School also has two free after school programs:
  • Tutoring for Grades 2-8
  • Summer School for Grades K-6

What parents like most about the Stratford School is that their children don't get lost in the shuffle as most kids do in public school.  The 8:1 student teacher ratio means that teachers and students get to know each other.  The fact that the school covers K-8 all in one building means they get to see them grow, help them hone their strengths and overcome their challenges.  But it's not just the teacher - it's every employee at the school who takes an interest in the students - the guidance counselor, the cafeteria workers, and administration.

The school emphasizes both academics and athletics, with cross-country skiing, baseball and softball programs.

Check out the awards, accolades, and accomplishments listed below.  Not many schools can top this list.

Grades 9 - 12 attend Groveton High School.

Postsecondary Education

New Hampshire is home to a variety of postsecondary institutions including colleges, universities, and career schools.  The New Hampshire Postsecondary Education Commission website maintains a complete list of accredited colleges as well as career schools.

Neighboring Vermont maintains a directory of colleges and universities on it's Department of Education website.
